Khanwars is a popular online stategy game for adults, international server you can find at http://www.khanwars.com and you can find there links to all local servers all over the world. Locust for Khanwars is a Mozilla Firefox addon for the game that emproves interface of the game making playing process more interesting. Here I’m describing version 1h of addon written by me 15 of March 2011. You can find it on Mozilla project website – https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/locust-for-khanwars/versions/ . It consists for now of two big modules – Analytics module and March module.

Analytics module

World map

Locust adds a “World map” button to the map page to call a World map where you can see whole the gameworld. Player can see his or her clan and other players’ positions and can plan his or her strategy actions.

World scan

Scanning function requests the maps of the gameworld and collects information about all castles. After scan you can see names of castles on march page and in players’ profiles. Scan takes about 2-6 minutes depending on your internet connection and informs when process finishes. To start scan you have to push a “Scan world” button.

Extended players’ profiles

Locust places castles’ data into the players’ profiles together with distances to each castle.

Map highlight

Locust for Khanwars adds world map button to the original map page and shows on original map resources and people left on a battlefield:

Green and yellow labels mean resources and wounded warriors left on a battlefield.

March module

Script designed to improve a march window and to make march launching process easier. Features:
1.    Shows march content – people and resources in a march table
2.    Adds quick links to the march line “repeat march to the given coordinates” and “show the march place on the map”
3.    Sends marches in one click – point coordinates and army, purch the button with a march type and that’s all, march is sent
4.    Ultraspeed spymarch. Type coordinates and puch spionage button without entering army content. This will send one spy
5.    Ultraspeed patrol. This march is used for to avoid incoming attack. Just purch patrol button and script will select all the units in current castle and send them to the selected coordinates, current castle coordinates by default.
